What People Are Saying About Me

I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything you did for me during our program.  I'm so grateful God let me find you because you literally changed my life.  Looking back to only 4-5 months ago and seeing how much life has changed for the better because of you is insane.  I was in the worst mental state I had ever been in, never leaving my house starving myself because I was scared to eat.  Not only did you completely clear my acne problems, but you gave me the ability to pretty much eat whatever I want again.  You gave me back my confidence and happiness that I had lost.  You're literally such a blessing from God and if I could recommend you to the entire world I would because you genuinely fixed all the problems I was having that doctors were dismissing.  Thank you for giving me my confidence and freedom back.  Just the ability to be able to eat food again with my family and not worry about horrible symptoms again is such a blessing, and I'm so grateful.  You've taught me so many things over the last few months of my health journey that have also changed my life for the better.  Seriously, I can't say think you enough and I'm just so so so grateful.

When I first started with Kelly, I couldn't make it through a session without crying, as I was feeling completely hopeless and lost. Since working with her through her plan and patience, I have found ways to work around my many food allergies and find what my body responds to best. I am so thankful for her kindness as this was very hard for me, but she made it easy to follow and worth it. The tests were easy enough, and the results made so much sense when Kelly walked through them with me. She provides all the necessary information to provide you with guidance for a lifetime. So very thankful for Kelly.

Let me start with 'there’s no magic pill' I know because I’ve tried many. 8 years ago, I was diagnosed with MS and 6 years ago with collagenous colitis. About 10 years ago my gallbladder was removed. It’s the colitis that is the most annoying because it can be an everyday thing. Then this past spring everything took a turn for the worst. After an antibiotic for strep throat, Covid and a severe case of a c-diff infection that landed my in the hospital for 4 days. I was told my intestinal problems may not get back to “normal” for up to a year. I found that thought horrific. I talked to Kelly at a party and just knew I needed to work with her. Things she said just made sense. The journey began and within 2-3 weeks I saw a significant improvement, along with our weekly talks, where I’ve learned so much, and supplements I have not backslid at all. Things just keep feeling better. We came to the conclusion that gluten and dairy may be my “triggers” but, honestly, I have been free of both for about 16 weeks, and I have no real desire to go back. I’m actually looking forward to my next colonoscopy in a year or so and see what they say. Kelly changed my life and for that I’m forever grateful. This program is my 'magic pill.'

This is a testimonial to my 12-week journey with Coach Kelly. I hope you take this as words of encouragement, that if I can do this with the outcomes, so can you! I reached out to Kelly the end of January 2022, on my 62nd Birthday and knew I couldn’t continue on the path I was on. I couldn’t control my sugar binges and was stuck in a loop of the highs and lows of sugar. I have a stressful job, working 10-to-15-hour days, not leaving my desk, only to go to the snack cabinet for sugar filled snacks. My energy level would spike for a short period and then I would tank. Then I was off to the snack cabinet for another quick fix. I was on a sugar rollercoaster. Weight gain, exhaustion, joint pain, bloated, inflammation, HEARTBURN, depression, isolation, irritable, brain fog, and miserable were my symptoms. ENOUGH is ENOUGH...I reached out to Kelly, and she was very prompt responding and educating me about her 12-week program.... I started my journey mid-February. We met weekly, set realistic goals, new ideas, meal prep, setbacks, goals, educational tools, and new challenges. Within two weeks of clean eating, I was coming back around, walking, meeting up with friends, going to the beach, challenging friends on our fit bits, just an overall positive outlook. I even started taking my own Paleo snacks to Barbecues at friends' houses. If you are reading this and are “stuck”, make that call to Coach Kelly. She will have you back on track in no time. She pulled me out of my spiral, and I have accepted that Paleo is my new lifestyle. At the end of the 12-week program I was down 7 of the 15 lbs. I wanted to lose. My clothes fit, I felt better, and I didn’t have HEARTBURN or all of my other symptoms. Coach Kelly, thank you for your honesty, commitment, and willingness to listen to me and my body to guide me back on the tracks. I couldn’t have done this without you. As I write this, a little over four months from my initial call, I am down 10 pounds.

I would like to share some great news with you!  For the first time since my nightmare began (Jan. 2021) I am FINALLY feeling normal!!  Since I started [supplements], I feel like myself again!  Halfway through my second bottle I have been able to increase my food list tremendously including some histamine foods like pumpkin, cocoa, and avocado.  I can't say just yet, but my histamine intolerance may be cured....  I am able to eat freely without irritation and inflammation which would really dampen my mood....  I never lost hope even in my lowest moments.  All and all I just wanted to say thank you for your recommendations.  They have proven results for me.

Kelly has been very helpful and huge part of my healing journey. I've suffered with SIBO and leaky gut over the past 12 yrs. Kelly's suggestions of which supplements to take, diet suggestions, and overall lifestyle changes has helped me feel considerably better. And her easy to talk to, kind personality makes me look forward to talking with her each week! Thanks for all your help, Kelly!

What is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner?

A Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner is a practitioner who looks at the functioning of a client's body, as well as all aspects of a client's lifestyle, in order to get to the root cause of their health problems.  As an FDN-P, I am able to facilitate functional lab testing for my clients that allows me to see how a client's body, and the various systems within the body, are functioning (or not functioning).  With these functional tests, I specifically look for stressors and imbalances within the hormones, immune system, digestion, detoxification, energy production, and nervous system, as well as oxidative stress because, as an FDN-P, I have learned that dysfunction in one or more of these key areas is what causes or contributes to most health problems and symptoms.

Once the functional lab tests are run, I explain the results to a client and design an individualized protocol which includes my recommendations in the areas of diet, rest, exercise, stress reduction, and supplementation.

I then coach a client through a 5-month program where I guide them through my protocol, educate them on various aspects of health building, and help them course correct when they get off track.

One thing that sets an FDN-P apart from other practitioners is that an FDN-P does not just run 1 or 2 targeted lab tests and "treat the paper." Instead, we run a collection of carefully chosen functional lab tests in order to identify as many healing opportunities as possible within the various systems in the body. We then address all of those healing opportunities at once with the individualized protocol.

The end result?  A client who feels better, functions better, and can get back to living their life again.
